# Charges

> Retrieve a PIX charge by transaction identifier.

Use this endpoint to retrieve the current representation of an incoming PIX charge.

• Get charge details — POST /v3/charges/details

AUTHENTICATION AND ACCOUNT TARGETING

Use a signed POST request. Send X-Client-ID, X-Timestamp, X-Nonce, and X-Signature. X-Content-Hash is optional. If account-targeting headers are used, X-ISPB and X-Account-Number must be sent together.

Use the outer response envelope — code, message, data, and time — to determine whether the API call succeeded.
